We are delighted that you would like to learn about the Deep River Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR). We are always honored to share information with those who are interested in the DAR, and we continually look for new opportunities to promote DAR objectives within our local community. Our members are committed to promoting historic preservation, education, and patriotism. We enjoy our volunteer activities and are proud to make a difference in the lives of our community, state, and country.
Each member is a direct descendant of a Patriot of the American Revolutionary War.
We support the Chatham County Historical Society and library.

How to Join
Interested in becoming a member? Our chapter is made up of enthusiastic ladies of all ages, backgrounds, and talents. Any woman 18 years or older who can prove lineal descent from a Patriot of the American Revolutionary War is eligible for membership. You are welcome to visit one of our meetings where we can answer questions about membership, projects, or activities. Our chapter registrar will be happy to assist with the membership process.
Please contact us if you would like to attend one of our meetings or talk with someone about our chapter. We welcome new members to our active chapter.
